2149 The Aftermath 2021 DVD Cover. Darwin, a young man in a future society, lives in a small cement module with nothing more than a screen, much like anyone else.

Darwin’s module is struck by lightning one night during a destructive storm, knocking out his machine and causing him to step outdoors.

He is surprised to meet a lovely young woman who lives in the woods with her family and teaches him how to talk and values human touch. Meanwhile, security forces have sent drones to track him down and apprehend him.
