Jenn Thompson (Kate Siegel) is a woman in crisis; she is unhappy, unemployed, and her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Brian Rawley (Jaime M. Callica) are confusing. So it seems like a no-brainer when her friend Gina Kelma (played by Lucie Guest) suggests she see therapist Dr. Collin Meade (played by Jason O’Mara).
Collin Meade, on the other hand, does not appear to be as professional as he appears. He takes advantage of his abilities by employing hypnotherapy to his advantage, and Jenn Thompson falls under his spell quickly. Hypnotic transforms into a fascinating thriller in which Jenn must figure out how to undercut her therapist and stop this nightmare from unfolding.
