Meera (Freida Pinto) is awakened one night by a house invasion after moving to a tiny village with her husband Henry (Logan Marshall-Green). When Meera makes it to their car, she sees Henry repelling the intruders and killing them in self-defense. Meera is terrified of a repeat attack on their home, having been shaken by the ordeal.
When she notices Henry is unconcerned about the intrusion, she starts asking questions, but Henry is evasive, prompting her to conduct her own inquiry. Meera soon learns facts about the home invaders’ objectives, which will rock the basis of the life she had hoped to build with Henry.
