Resort to Love 2021 DVD Cover. Aspiring pop singer Erica ends up as the entertainment at the marriage of her former fiancé after unwillingly playing on a luxury island village as a result of a breakdown in music.
Erica Wilson (Christina Milian) is an aspiring singer whose career is on the verge of taking off when rapper Cre (Kayne Lee Harrison) refuses to release his newest album, on which she co-wrote a song. Erica obtains a singing engagement at a resort on the East African island of Mauritius thanks to her best friend Amber (Tymberlee Hill), who works in social media marketing.
Erica, on the other hand, wasn’t simply recruited to do nighttime concerts; she was also expected to sing at weddings. This does not sit well with her, since she is still grieving the loss of her ex-fiancé Jacob King (Jay Pharoah), who left her before their wedding. When she discovers that Jacob is staying at the same resort and that she would be performing at his wedding to Beverly Strattford, things take an unexpected turn (Christiani Pitts).
Erica’s situation becomes even more difficult when she begins to fall for Jacob’s estranged brother Caleb (Sinqua Walls), who was conveniently absent from the scene during her time with Jacob.
