A man runs from one weird and frigid world to another. Warmth is provided by furs and fires, while refuge is provided by a cave. He’s a shattered man who longs to be alone.
Isolation, on the other hand, does not provide him inner peace. He embarks on another trip, this time inside the self. He delves into his dreams, confronts memories, and searches for visions.
The few contacts he has with other people are in languages he doesn’t understand, dictated by bodies that attract him, and the kinds of love that he investigates and then abandons. His quest turns into a dance with devils, but there is one constant: light.
