2nd step Image creation for disc printing – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

Let’s start by going over the fundamentals of designing pictures for CD/DVD printing.

Logos and text: If you’re using DDI Publisher for.NET to create a CD or DVD cover, you’ll almost certainly need to use two or more photos. For each disc, you typically want your logo (on the front) and potentially some form of writing (such as the title, artist, or even company name). These alternatives, however, aren’t restricted to the title, artist, or business. We’ll show you how to create a whole cover image with the flexibility to put text anywhere you want in this article.

We will initially generate an image for the front of the CD/DVD cover before we begin designing any of the CD/DVD components. All of the photographs in this lesson are 4′′ by 6.5′′, which is the typical size for a CD/DVD. On the front of the disc, we’ll put three images: the company logo, the artist’s name, and a short paragraph of the company name.

When you’re working on the three photographs, you’ll see that there’s a small box around the margins (called the “margin”). Your logo should be designed in the center of the margin. Then, on the outside corners of the image, create a rectangle box (called “bleeds”) that will carry the artist’s name and firm name.

3rd step – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

You’ll need to position the three photos on the front of the CD/DVD cover after you’ve made your front image. You’ll be familiar with adding an image in the center of a page if you’ve ever used the “Insert Picture” function on an album. This notion also applies to CDs and DVDs. You’ll have to click and drag the photographs into the page’s center. The margin will then need to be resized to meet the size of your image.

4th step – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

After you’ve placed the photographs on the CD/DVD cover’s front, you’ll need to add a title, such as “CD/DVD Title.” You’ll also need to select a font style. If you look at images of CDs and DVDs, you’ll see that Arial is the most common font style. If you select this font style, the text you type into the cover picture will appear black and bold; however, if you want a different font, you may do so by clicking on the font style. We’ve used the “Arial” font style in this example, and the text will be black and bold.

5th step – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

After you’ve finished designing the front of the CD/DVD cover, you’ll need to design the back of the CD/DVD cover as well. The rear of the CD/DVD cover will also require a box with the artist’s name and the corporate name around the corners. You’ll want to add little graphics to the background of the CD/DVD cover’s backside in addition to the primary text. We’ve decided on four possible photographs to utilize for the CD/DVD cover’s background.

On add an image to the back of the CD/DVD cover, go to the Insert tab, select Image File from the drop-down menu, and then select Browse. You’ll need to choose an image for the back of the CD/DVD cover here.

You’ll need to submit the image you wish to use on the rear of the CD/DVD cover after you’ve completed changing the color scheme and border. Select your image and click the Open Image button to upload it. After that, select Insert and then OK.

7th step – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

After you’ve finished with the rear of the CD/DVD cover, you’ll need to add text to the front of the CD/DVD cover to complete the cover design. If you look at the previous step’s image of the rear of the CD/DVD cover, you’ll note that we added little bits of text at the bottom of the image. Now that you’ve produced a custom CD/DVD cover for your image, you’ll need to finish it off by adding some text to the front of it.

Open the Text option in the Text and Shapes toolbar to begin adding text to the front of the CD/DVD cover. After you’ve opened the Text option, go to Insert and choose a font for the text you’re going to put on the CD/DVD cover.

You’ll need to use the Paint Bucket tool to fill the text with the color you desire when you’ve finished writing the text. Then, using the Stroke Selection tool, choose the color you want for the CD/DVD cover’s border. The Stroke Selection tool is used to select a single color from a picture. After you’ve chosen a border color, use the Stroke Selection tool to draw a black boundary around it. Then, select a stroke weight of 0.1 pixels from the Edit menu.

9th step – How to print DVD covers 2021 Method

You’ll want to utilize the Paint Bucket tool to generate the text that will go on the CD/DVD cover. By selecting the Toolbox symbol and then the Paint Bucket tool, you may access the Paint Bucket tool. Select the text you wish to include on the CD/DVD cover by clicking on it. Depending on how much information you want to add on your CD/DVD cover, you can design a significant amount of text.
